At Not a Very Good Teacher, we are a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) committed to creating innovative, engaging educational tools that merge play with learning. For the past 5 years, we’ve specialized in government contracts, but we are now expanding into creative educational products that inspire and educate. Our founder, a USMC veteran with a passion for giving back, was inspired by his experiences and his involvement with Toys for Tots to create something that could have a positive impact on future generations.

With Mission Match, we aim to foster cognitive skill development, teamwork, and leadership in children while also encouraging them to explore real-world opportunities in Leadership, STEM, and the military. Initially, we considered focusing on a USMC-specific game but ultimately decided to create a broader military theme. This ensures that Mission Match can be enjoyed by all children, regardless of their background, while still maintaining the spirit of military service and its values.

Mission Match is a strategic memory game that goes beyond fun. Designed for children ages 5+, it introduces them to critical life skills and career exploration in an engaging way. Through a military-themed gameplay experience, children enhance their memory, develop strategic thinking, and learn about leadership, STEM, and military career opportunities.

The game includes QR-enabled cards that link to a digital learning hub, offering children access to valuable leadership, STEM, and military resources. Whether played at home, in schools, or in community programs, Mission Match combines learning and play for an impactful experience.

In the future, we plan to integrate with a 3PL service provider (Amazon MCF) for seamless order fulfillment once production is completed.
